Dr. Sarah Holloway is an integrative medicine practitioner who offers a unique blend of naturopathic, Western, and Chinese medicine.
Dr. Holloway’s love of nature combined with a fierce scientific curiosity and passion for positively impacting those around her drove her to seek a style of medical practice that respects the innate healing wisdom of the body while also honoring the rigor of the scientific method. Her unique background in science and research, as well as more “alternative” medical philosophies allows Dr. Holloway to keep one foot firmly rooted in both of these worlds.
Dr. Holloway’s patients appreciate her genuine interest in their well-being. Her unassuming but professional manner leaves patients with a sense of confidence and ease. Her dedication to providing unbiased, non-judgemental, top-quality integrative healthcare is evident. Ultimately, Dr. Holloway seeks to empower her patients with the knowledge, habits, and tools needed to renovate their lifestyle, reset their trajectory, and realize excellent health that lasts a lifetime.
Before arriving at National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR to pursue her doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Holloway studied Psychology and Biology at the University of Texas in Austin, where she completed her pre-medical coursework, graduating summa cum laude. After graduation from UT, Dr. Holloway spent several years traveling the world and working as a research scientist at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama.
She lives in Santa Cruz, CA. She enjoys exploring the Redwoods at Henry Cowell park and soaking up the sun between classes at Five Branches University where she will complete her master of Oriental medicine degree in late 2016. She is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
