Full-Time Admin Assistant/Receptionist
Frequent tasks will include:
- Greeting and checking out patients, collecting payment
- maintain and manage patient records
- coordinate flow of patients through appointments as scheduled
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, fielding calls
- Filing and Electronic Medical Records
- Light cleaning
- Setting up and breaking down for events
- Filling vitamin orders, compounding herbal tinctures
- maintain stock of forms and office supplies
- ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
- safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
- Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Availability Tues-Thurs 8:30am-5:30pm, Fridays 8:30am-6:30pm
- Previous office experience 1 year +
- Interest in natural, healthy lifestyle
- Basic computer (mac, google docs, google calendar) and phone skills

Education and Experience:
- high school diploma
- knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
- knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
- knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures

- Some medical training or experience
- Hourly: $19-25 – depending on experience

Part-Time Medical Assistant/Receptionist (15-20 hrs/week)
*Phlebotomy Certificate Required*
Frequent tasks will include:
Medical Assisting:
- Filling vitamin orders, compounding herbal tinctures
- Administering intramuscular injections – strong skills required
- Phlebotomy – strong skills required
- Preparing nutrient bags for intravenous administration
- Charting injections
- Ordering supplies from vendors for medicinary
Reception:
- Greeting and checking out patients, collecting payment
- Answering busy phones, scheduling appointments, fielding calls
- Standard clerical work
- Light cleaning
- Setting up and breaking down for events
- Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Availability Tues-Thurs 8:45am-5:15pm and Fridays 8:45am-6:30pm
- * Previous office experience 1 year +
- Interest in/familiarity with holistic healthcare modalities/products
- Basic computer (Mac), Microsoft Office, and busy multi-line phone skills
- Warm, friendly, upbeat attitude, high energy, trustworthy, customer service-oriented, high integrity, punctual, organized, forward-thinking, calm, grounded
- Excellent multi-tasker, able to handle busy work environment
- Clear communication skills
- Eye for detail
- Clean record, no addictions, non-smoker
- 3 references: 2 professional/academic, 1 personal
- Medical training — i.e. nursing student, medical assistant, phlebotomist
